There is no question that there are serious differences is the physical characteristics of the people in these photos. The fundamental argument against the implications of this fact is, in a nutshell, "they wouldn't do that". That argument is based on faith and nationalist fervor engrained socially through popular culture, not on fact, recorded history, psychology, or observable human behavior.

The writer acts as though "the implications" is self-explanatory. What are the proposed implications of different pictures? Who is “they” and what are “they” “doing” or not doing? Without these unsaid things explained in detail, the last statement only seems like watered-down version of what was meant to be said. I only point this out for clarity’s sake.
We had discussed SITE and their involvement in the release of UBL messages. I know now that they have had a very small percentage of the earliest access to such messages. They do try to be as involved as possible though. I'm pretty sure they are a for-profit org.
